I’m returning after the publishing break with a miniseries of articles on how to create a website. A series of tutorials in which I will explain step by step the web design process, in a way accessible to beginners. It’s been a while since the last article was published. It is due to the projects and a new book to be released (and announced). The new book will go hand in hand with this series. More details coming soon.
In order to complete the tutorials, you need a minimum knowledge of using the internet, a laptop and a web browser. You don’t need programming skills, although they will help you in the future. We will use WordPress as a starting platform. It is a very good CMS to learn how to create a website. For those who do not know what WordPress is, I recommend the article Why choose WordPress for your website.
I will not guarantee a program for publishing articles. I will try my best to publish as often as possible. At least weekly. But there may be breaks. Writing them and documenting the process takes a lot of time.

Needed to learn how to create a website
Because it is a practical series, you will need a laptop with an internet connection from which to publish and modify the website. For hosting you will either be able to purchase a package from a provider for ~ 150 lei / year that includes the domain or you can host it for free locally on your device. If you opt for a hosting provider, your website will be online and anyone will be able to see it once it is ready. If you opt for local hosting, only you will be able to see the website. Note that the installation guides will be made on the Windows operating system. The procedure is similar for MacOS or Linux
The best WordPress themes and modules cost a small amount. So is hosting the website. I will offer both free and advanced options, for a fee, leaving you to choose which way you prefer.
